I saw that panel "how to be famous". Everyone seemed to know what they were talking about except that Michael Pinto. He really made no sense at all, and should not have spoken.

@moritheil, Well it took me about a year to get to go to a Vertical panel. So I was pretty happy this convention. Plus have to thank Rachel for introducing me. ^_^ I am so happy with Chi's Sweet Home being translated. Hahah.. sure, definitely would try to do that next time.. not sure when though.

@Ray, I would think so too, I always think it is a matter of luck or charisma, you have to be at the right time or place. If you say that one has to love it, wouldn't one be slightly too egotistical then? Success is measured differently by people, but society seems to pin point at economics, fame etc.

Yep a lot of people did a double take when I said it was a cake. Would love to see that Ace of Cakes show detailing how they did this cake though.. ^_^

It's hard trying to pinpoint how to become famous on the net. I think one just have to love it.

I really couldn't tell that was a cake!

Interesting. The Vertical Panel is the one thing I really wanted to go to at NYAF that I ultimately couldn't attend. I'm pleased to see that they've go so much coming out, especially Black Jack and Chi's Sweet Home. Ed Chavez is definitely super cool and I regret not spending more time talking to him. You should have come to karaoke with us; he's really got style.
